Agricultural Vulnerability Assessment of High-Temperature Disaster in Shaanxi Province of China

The negative impact of high-temperature disaster on agricultural production is becoming more and serious, reducing the vulnerability to fundamental achieving sustainable development. This study mainly focused in Shaanxi Province, China. Firstly, 15 indicators were selected from perspectives exposure, sensitivity, adaptability. Secondly, combined weighting method (Critic-G1 model) was used determine weight each index. Based aforementioned procedures, Kullback–Leibler (KL)-distance-improved TOPSIS model utilized evaluate vulnerability. Lastly, obstacle analyze influencing factors make recommendations for prevention mitigation. results show that: (1) improved closer synthetical index method. (2) northern southern area vulnerable disaster, especially Ankang Tongchuan. Low values are distributed Guanzhong Plain. (3) Sensitivity biggest disaster. Among factors, meteorological yield reduction coefficient variation, multiple cropping per capita net income rural residents high. Decreasing sensitivity should be accompanied by increasing adaptability improve regional preparedness this can provide a basis development mitigation loss strategies new ideas future research.
